Homes for Hounds – In Support of Our Four-Legged Family Members
While our focus is on providing great homes for our clients, Coventry hasn’t forgotten that animals need homes as well. Homes for Hounds is a charity created by Coventry Homes in support of the Edmonton Humane Society.
Every year we donate a portion of our home sales to the Society, which provides shelter for homeless pets and works to find permanent families for puppies needing homes. We also host the annual Paws and Claws Gala, a black-tie fundraiser open to anyone interested in supporting a great cause. With funds donated from Coventry Homes, the major corporate donor, as well as other organizations, the Edmonton Humane Society opened the Chappelle Centre for Animal Care at 13620-163 Street NW.
Helping House Cats and Puppies Needing Homes
The 4th Annual Paws and Claws Gala was held on Saturday October 1, 2011 at the Edmonton Expo Centre. With approximately 400 people in attendance, the sold out event was a great success!! The Gala included a dog fashion show, live music and a silent and live auction.
