Over the past five decades, we’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of families find a place to call home. While many people know us as an Edmonton home builder, there are plenty of stories, milestones, and fun facts that have helped shape who we are today.

In honour of our 50th anniversary, here are 50 things you might not know about Coventry Homes.

1. Coventry Homes was founded in 1976.

What started as a vision has grown into one of Edmonton’s most respected home builders.

2. We’re still family-owned.

Five decades later, family values continue to guide everything we do.

3. Our founder is Henri Rodier.

His entrepreneurial spirit helped lay the foundation for the company we are today.

4. The second generation now leads the business.

President Mark Rodier continues to build on the legacy established by his father.

5. Coventry Homes is not our original name.

We’ve actually had 3 names: We started as HRS Homes and became Champagne Homes in 1983 and officially became Coventry Homes in 1994.

6. We’ve helped over 6000 families move into new homes.

Every home has a unique story, and we’re proud to be part of so many.

7. We build everything.

Single Family, Single family detached garage, duplexes, townhomes. From Quick Possession to Presale homes to fully custom. We build spaces where families grow, celebrate milestones, and create memories.

9. We’ve been proudly Edmonton-based since day one.
