Take a look at the most recent update on our Habitat for Humanity Home in Leduc's Woodbend.
It’s already September and Fall is in the air. Our Habitat for Humanity home is moving along quickly. Last we checked in, the foundation was poured on our Ari Duplex and framing had started on the main floor. The house now has both the main floor and second floor framing complete, with the roof installed. Inside, rooms are starting to take shape as framing continues. This provides the bones for the house, which will later be insulated and drywalled. Windows and doors have also now been installed. The back of the house has large windows letting in lots of natural light! Next up for this home will be the plumbing and electrical rough-ins, giving the home light, heat, and running water.
We have so many trades working together with us on this project, donating some or all of their time and resources. Take a moment to read over our list of companies contributing to our Habitat Home and say “Thanks!” if you see them. To all of the organizations that are taking part in our Habitat Home…thank you! We can’t wait to share the final experience with you:
As the frost thaws and the flowers begin to bloom, new homes will be popping up all around the Great Edmonton Area!
