We’re still catching our breath from all the Christmas fun, but New Year’s Eve is just a few days away!
If you haven’t made any NYE plans don’t worry – we’ve put together a list of some of Edmonton’s top celebrations to welcome 2018.
New Year’s Eve Downtown Festival & Fireworks
Celebrate 2018’s arrival at the Alberta Legislature Grounds with a wrap-up party for Canada’s 150thAnniversary. This family-friendly event is alcohol-free, and it’s filled with plenty of entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Make sure you stick around for the fireworks at 9pm!
West Edmonton Mall’s World Waterpark’s New Year’s Eve Beach Ball
Swap your formal attire for swimsuits at WEM’s World Waterpark’s beach inspired celebration. From 6 p.m. to midnight you’ll be celebrating 2018 with tropical style in the world’s largest indoor wave pool. Plus, your NYE countdown will be complete with a unique indoor fireworks display! Noon Years at the Telus World of Science Edmonton
If you’re looking for something the little ones can do during the day then this is the event for you. Noon Years at the TWOS Edmonton features a noon hour countdown with hydrogen balloons, Noon Year’s Science Ice-Cream, and plenty of science fun. The event takes place on December 31stand January 1st.
New Years Eve at Hotel MAC
Ready to say goodbye to 2017 with some glamour? The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald is the place to do it. Their throwback Studio 54 party features food, entertainment, live music and a countdown to midnight (sparkling wine included!). Get your tickets here.
